Second anniversary report of Australia’s first labour hire licensing scheme

Queensland's labour hire licensing scheme is the first of its kind in Australia. More than two years since it commenced, there are over 3300 licensed labour hire providers operating throughout the state in all industries. The Labour Hire Licensing Compliance Unit engages closely with industry, stakeholders and communities throughout Queensland. The team ensures providers comply with relevant laws, conducts audits and investigates complaints regarding labour hire arrangements and works closely with other regulators to improve compliance in the labour hire industry.
